Eaglehawk Leisure Centre

A combination of large open areas and hard surfaces made for an extremely noisy swimming pool at the Eaglehawk Leisure Centre.

After months of consultation with acoustical engineers, Bendigo shire council accepted submissions from numerous manufacturers of acoustic products. They determined that Renhurst’s Rippletone acoustic ceiling stood out due to its superior acoustic performance.

This acoustic performance allowed the council to save funds by only installing Rippletone in selected sections of the pool. The lightweight Rippletone allowed the ceiling to be fixed directly to the existing sandwich panel.

Rippletone is suitable for swimming pool applications where it is determined that moisture and condensation are not an issue.
